I am a Senior Film & TV Editor and have been based in London since 1999.
I have been interested in moving pictures ever since I can remember.
I consider myself lucky to have taken my very first baby step on film sets directed by classic cinema icons, where I could build solid foundations in the art of filmmaking.
My 15+years career has taken me through a rather etherogeneous set of projects and I've ended up editing all sorts, but I am now focussing mainly on drama and commercials.
My trademarks are operational speed and a deep connection with the story, emotion, and rhythm of the films I'm cutting. I particularly love working with sound. I'm no "picture editor", I consider sound as important.
To me, Editing is more than just a mean to assemble footage: it's like directing an orchestra.
Color Grading is a recent happy discovery. I started to grade professionally on DaVinci Resolve systems in 2009.
I’m now one of Nicebiscuits in-house colorists in London's Soho though I still enjoy freelancing for some clients.
I see Color Grading as a natural extention of Editing and ultimately the storytelling process.
Therefore I consider myself lucky when on some projects I'm given the privilege to follow both stages.
